Nie zuvor eine Pflanze gewachsen und wollte mit unserem neuen Platz lernen. Der Boden war alles Ton, also bauten wir erhöhte Betten und pflanzten Klee, um die Wartung der Rasen zu senken. Der Weihnachtsbaum befindet sich in einem Topf, sodass wir ihn hineinbringen können und Erdbeeren das ein Bett übernommen haben. In zukünftiger Id bauen Sie gerne einen kleinen Teich in der schattigen Ecke am Schuppen und ersetzen Sie den Gartenbogen durch einen schönen hölzernen Wisteria. Nicht abgebildet ist eine Rose, die ich gepflanzt habe und die auf Trellis, die ich gebaut habe, an der Seite des Hauses aufwächst! Ich wollte nur unseren Fortschritt teilen!

I can’t make it out from the resolution of the pic, but what’s going on with the darker patches of grass. Is that just patchiness? Or is it some kind of lawn alternative?

It looks lovely! Just might need to ensure that the climber on the arch doesn’t end up blocking too much light from the veg beds behind.
Why not grow on the archway?
