I don’t know what plant this is, but generally you need a piece of the stem to propagate for leafy plants like this. Wouldn’t get my hopes up for this one.
Looks like an elephant ear Alocasia. Unfortunately there’s nothing you can do with that leaf
You can put in in vase for a week or 2. Bit it will never root. Just fir decoration
It’s just a leaf, there’s no node for new growth. It’ll stay alive in a glass of water for a while but that’s about it.
