I’ve got tomatoes, cukes, aubergines and chillies in my unheated greenhouse and they’re fine at night. The rest I’ve already planted out.
We had a low of 4 the other night but everything’s been fine. I put out my beans and summer squash a couple of days ago because I just couldn’t be arsed with pitting them up. A couple of French beans are looking a bit droopy but the rest are fine. I am down south though.

Most of this stuff would be fine in the greenhouse overnight already unless you’re well up north

Surely this stuff is ok in the greenhouse now? I have tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers all in an unheated greenhouse and they are absolutely fine, we are in Newcastle so not super warm

Where were these germinated? They don’t look leggy in the slightest 😀

I won’t join the debate of what could be in the greenhouse or not… I just wanted to say how impressively orderly your planting/dining table is! If I was allowed to try doing this it’d look like a couple of gravediggers had had a go at my kitchen table.

All of mine is planted outside already! Crack on!

Yeah, still a bit nippy at night. My banana babies got hit by late frost one night, but they’re recovering.

Everything looks very healthy, well done. I’d have it all in the greenhouse by now except for the basil, which I’d probably just keep inside forever because it’s so tender.

They look very healthy, you just get a lot of light in your house. Mine went in the greenhouse about 1.5 months ago. The last few nights the aubergines have probably been unhappy with the cold, but they will just have to deal with it.

I’m up north in Aberdeenshire everything you have there is already have out in the greenhouse- admittedly early for tomatoes for me but it’s been a very mild spring
Chard I’ve had in the greenhouse all winter and we regularly get down to below -5 it’s pretty tough and gives us a crop over winter.
Leeks self sowed themselves for me after I let mine run to Seed and have been outside all winter through snow and all sorts. Peas have been outside for a couple of weeks now those directly sown have now germinated too
In future years you can always experiment – i put out a couple of pioneers and if they survive the rest join them you will have years you get it very wrong but that’s part of the fun
Edit: oh and I forgot to harvest some of last year’s beetroot it survived the winter outside and was still tasty for it

I planted out most of my plants 2 weeks ago – some of them had some changes on leaves last week but I am sure they will come back. They haven’t grown massively but are settled. The things that didn’t survive weren’t due to the cold but either due to gnats (reason I wanted all of them out so others aren’t affected – also wanted to keep my house plants safe ) or due to clay soil separated in lumps from the mix this year. I’ve now realised I didn’t add enough compost when planting them out which is why cucumber+melon plants are struggling. I may not have any cucumbers this year, some didn’t survive indoors due to gnats the rest died outdoors. Only 2 seedlings are still hardening off with young beans I sowed recently.

Lovely array of greenery! Mine are only just getting started 🙁 However, I am a few weeks earlier than last year, so fingers crossed next year i’ll be on time!!!

I’m in Lancashire, and I got bored of moving my seedlings everyday. Now they’re out and have to thrive or die

Due to being an inexperienced gardener I just stuck my peas out about a week ago and surprisingly they’ve been fine – I’m in Cambridgeshire as well.
Biggest problem at the moment seems to be the complete lack of rain – much less than I’d expect for this time of year!

I am in the same place- potting them all on now and they are going outside. I hate the potting on! It feels endless. Am doing them in a rota. I love seeing them grow.

How cold is it at night where you are?
