Diffenbachia Senguine (Dumbcane) Clipping. Ich habe keinen Zugang mehr zur Mutterpflanze mehr. Ich weiß nichts über die Ausbreitung. Absolutes Erst -Timer … aber ich weiß, dass ich es versaut habe. Wurde nur gesagt, er solle diagonal schneiden und den Ausschnitt in Wasser legen. Denken Sie nicht, dass ich niedrig genug schneide, um Knoten zu bekommen, und sieht so aus, als ob es nur das neue Blatt auf den neuesten Stand gibt. Es wird jetzt seit 4 Tagen geschnitten und in Wasser geschnitten. Heute bemerkte ich, dass es unten rot wird. Bei Nacht war es noch roter und sah kranker aus.

Cut the bottom ridge off 1cm below the ridge, get rid of the plastic ties and peel away the largest leaf
Oh man, propagating dieffenbachias is hard. I recommend researching this a little more deeply and check some in-depth sources, and always make sure to wear gloves when handling it, never let the sap touch your skin, it’s a nerve agent.
Why twist ties? Holding those leaves on with twist ties won’t make them part of the plant.
Remove the ties, peel off the two large leaves, and hope you reveal a node on the stem where roots can grow from. If there is no node your cutting is too small.
A node will be a line around the stem, hopefully also with small brown nubs where it will root from. Make sure the root nubs are submerged. Give it lots of light.
These aren’t hard to prop.
Just so easy it feels wrong.

Even if it looks poorly and gets zombie vibe, it’ll be throwing roots like …. Something good at it.
Give it sun and water.
At your phase ….Prune up mush , lose twist ties, consider loosing bottom leaf, ( I’d wait and see)
