Bindweed. 100%.. the leavesa are a tell tale sign. – once you know what it is, it’s dead easy to spot..
Dig it all out, carefully… the root with be about a meter long at this point now it has leaves on it.. DON’T snap the root or leave any behind as it’ll grow from the bit you left..
I did earlier this year… and I had to dig out about a third of my border to get the root… it was about 2 meters fucking long… and i had TWO of them…i mean the flowers are pretty but it’ll take over your garden if you ain’t careful.
