Mein Vorgarten ist wirklich traurig und ich möchte etwas Besseres damit machen, weiß einfach nicht genau, was. Osten gegenüber und wird bis zum frühen Nachmittag ein gutes Sonnenlicht. Derzeit ist der Boden fester Ton, daher habe ich bereits vor, durch Oberboden hinzuzufügen/ zu ersetzen.
Irgendwelche Ideen, was ich damit machen könnte? Ich bin ein vernünftiger Gärtner, der so offen für Vorschläge ist.

I would start collecting cardboard and small paving slabs from FB market place.
10 bags of farmyard manure from Wickes will do rather than topsoil.
You can plant through the cardboard to avoid the weed load in your soil.
Layout the cardboard, cover in a good few inches of the manure and arrange the paving slabs so you can easily access every part of your front garden.
The fun part- choosing your plants!
Decide on a colour scheme- maybe blues, creams /mauve to tone with your front door?
Whatever you go for, avoid getting lots of different plants.
Instead make a shortlist of 10 and get 3 of each.
Your garden will be beautiful.
Gravel , pot plants. Less hassle and still beautiful
Honestly, in this economy, that’s enough space to turn into a lovely veg patch! I would get some duck egg blue metal beds to compliment your front door colour, and fill them with veg. Gravel or bark chip paths in between and you can always add nasturtiums and marigolds to the corners for colour and pest control 🙂
Don’t forget bulbs- put a lot of sharp sand down the hole for drainage before planting if you’re on clay.
Try a climbing something over the house- rambling rector maybe?
