Early to have them on the ground, I’m still waiting for my seeds to sprout.

    2. It’s been planted outside too early. They should really go out in May.

Sun scald. Was it hardened off before you planted it? It’ll probably be fine, the top leaves look unaffected.

Cut off those side shoots and cover with old 2L pop bottles with the top cut off until the night’s warm up.

You can put a cloche or cover over it for protection for now, stop any issues with cold/frost plus boost growth

    6. Just a case of our cold nights and hot sun in the day, should be fine. It’s early to have toms planted out in April I would say, I’ve got mine in pots outside in the day, then brought in at night.

From my own experience tomatoes should go out when nighttime temps average 10 degrees. This is normally early June. Begin to harden them off a few weeks before this.
