What a stunner!

I feel like irises are underrated. I never see people my age (30s) planting them, which seems like it should be a crime. I tried to talk my friend into getting them because they are fairly low maintenance, but she said they were grandma plants 🙄

No it didn’t wow

I thought I bought bright red irises at an end of season sale. When they came up they were eggplant colored and looked like velvet. I was supposed to divide them this spring but I got distracted. More to trade next year I suppose.

Mine rarely come up anymore. Is it because they are too crowded, ya think?
