Stick it in soil. You’ll have a houseful of plants in no time.

Source: I had a 3 inch sprig one year ago and now I have 5 pots full.

Yup, very propable! You found a tradescantia nanouk.

Large stem – peel off the two lower leaves. You can root it in water or stick it right in soil. Either way the spots where those two lower leaves were (nodes) are where it will primarily root from so those should be below the soil/ water with the remaining leaves above it.

Small stem – this isn’t as good of an outlook. I wouldn’t water prop it as the leaves will be wet and may rot. I would nestle this into a small pot of wet soil put it in a well lit spot, ignore it and hope for the best.

Tradescantias are known as wandering dudes or inch plants. They will take up whatever space you give them and then some. Personally I’d soil prop both finds as they root so easy water propagation seems like an unnecessary extra step.

Good luck. Would love to see some after photos!

I have soooo many full plants from just a few cuttings I found on the ground a few years ago.

I just gave a jar of props away the other day of this. Like 20 or 30 in the jar and still have another jar full. You could no leaves and they’ll still prop…
I have a green one and a purple one. They grow so wildly fast. Not called a wanderer for nothing.
