That’s literally insane. That thing is not gonna make it if it’s not with a plant person stat.

  2. You gotta ask a designated person who works in the garden center. I don’t understand why stores don’t have a policy regarding dying plants with discounts

Were you just wanting to save it? Or expand your collection? If it’s the latter I’ve got PPPs, I could give you a cutting if you’re in my area.
    Edit: spelling

I wonder if they would give you a discount on that white knight philodendron instead.

Did you speak to a manager? That’s crazy! I haggled at Save On Foods for a dying Satin Pothos and I got 50% off. And I’m glad I did because this plant has not been cooperating and it’s touch and go lol

I wonder if they would’ve give it to you for free if you left the white pot? It’s just going to go in the trash otherwise.

That’s actually a super rare form that begins to produce variation based on how dry it is. There’s no way they could discount something so rare ^(/s)

Lowe’s is so much better about discounting their plants as well.

  8. I regularly go to a hardware store just because there are times when their plants are like 50% or some even 70% off because of their condition.

On the other hand my father has seen another store throw out perfectly good plants because their sale was over and i guess they dont ship them back to where they got them from, since he was there for work (he doest work at the store) he asked one of the employees and got a few for free.

So. Technically the store doesn’t own the plant, and only the representative from the nursery is authorized to put a discount on the plant. Also, sadly most of the plants that end up in that condition are sent to the trash compactor.
