What’s your plans? Need more information. Bears Breech is a notoriously hardy plant so cutting it back will allow for more growth over the next couple of seasons. But if you want it to cover more of that area it can be left.
They’re a beautiful plant, but need to be kept in check as they’re invasive if allowed to spread.
