I don’t think you can prop it, but they will send up little pups that you can break off the mother plant!
Take off a leaf at the base, let it dry for a few days, then plant the dry end in succulent or cactus mix, and water it until water comes out the drainage holes. Discard the excess water.
Give it indirect sun (no strong sun at midday or in the afternoon), and water it only when the soil has dried out again. Treat it like a desert plant. If you don’t overwater it you should have some roots and new growth in a few months.
I’ve heard that aloe won’t propagate unless your cutting includes part of the rooting base. There are guides on youtube that supposedly show how you can cut the aloe at the base, then carefully cut along each leaf to remove the leaf with part of the stem, but personally it has never worked for me. I tried recently with two different aloe plants, probably a dozen cuttings total, and all either shriveled or rotted.
This aloe is super under-watered also you can not propagate it via leaf cutting sadly but if it has any pups you can take thoes off
I find my aloes prefer to be snug in a smaller pot and will usually make a lot of babies when potted that way. Cutting off the babies is the only way I’d encourage you to prop an aloe (or snake plant too). If it’s possible to repot, try that, and maybe give him more water 🤔
