Good job! I keep putting mine off. I’m itching to get pruning but planting is seeming like a chore this year.
Good work, that’s impressive. So far this year I’ve done nothing! I do have a list of seeds to grow though.
Well I think won’t need watering for a couple of days
All I’ve done so far is a quick broom of the yard and compost all of least year’s dead plant material.
Well done you for bracing yourself to go out in this miserable weather.
Twenty minutes walk with the dog and we were both miserable and half drowned. I was done with outdoors today.
Silly really, potting and sowing are really cathartic things to do, makes you think of new life and warmer weather too come.
Also, thanks for the nudge!
Nice one. You’ll have to share them when in full bloom though!
I’ve covered mine with pea gravel to dissuade crows from pecking at them! Will your pots stay there? I’m not sure if mine are too sheltered currently – when the bulbs poke through do they need to be exposed to plenty of light?
I’ve purchased half a dozen books about planning and planting borders as I’m starting from scratch. It’s not just getting the plants in the ground, it’s achieving interest in the borders year round I have a problem with.
What potting mix do you use? Thanks
I’d love to do this except for foxes always digging up our bulbs…
Git out yesterday but today the wind and torrential rain put a stop to that. You’ve done a great job. Did I spot garlic in there? All very neat too. 😀
It’ll be wonderful. That’s my goal as well
I’ve planted out 2 roses and a hypericum. I have bleeding heart and sea holly to get in but I’m a bit worried about a late frost so I’ll keep them a few weeks
Are you rich
Some of them look like they have shoots already
How did that come about?
Is that how you bought em?
