Idk why… But it honestly never occurred to me that I don’t have to fill up the jar all the way…. Lmao, well I did start on succulents and their leaves, soooooo. I’m dabbling in house plants now, still working on figuring that out all the way. I have just been erring on the side of caution with my cuts and water levels.

I tried to propagate ficus like that and I got a zombie leaf lmao. It grew roots but they just don’t have the genetic info to make new leaves or a bark/stem.
Let’s hope yours have nodes.
