Have you successfully managed to cure and smoke any? I tried this for a few years and even when I managed to get the leaves to brown, the taste was sub par and there was *no* nicotine hit in my throat at all. Thinking the rain washed it all off the leaves (it’s in the sticky gum coating the leaves). That was from several different cultivars including an N. Rustica. Hope yours works out better!
