      Looks fantastic and looking forward to the spring update – provided the squirrels don’t undo your hard work overnight!!

      We have a squirrel problem and this wouldn’t last the night.

      I would cover it with black bin liners cut open, and fork a few holes in them for drainage. 👍🏼

      I would also plant a line of Cornus alba ‘Sibirica’ across the middle. They won’t hide the tulips but will give a nice splash of colour all year.

      I’m not trying to be a negative nelly here but they really don’t look deep enough

      Typically you plant tulips at a depth 3-4 times the height of the bulb, usually around 15cm deep so they have a good strong anchor for their top heavy blooms and helps deter pests like squirrels and mice getting to the bulb. Timing is also important end of October, start of November is tulip planting season when temperatures have dropped enough to kill off any viruses around warmer temperatures in September make it a risker month

      That said I really hope your display is great, the blue edging will be lovely with the spring flowers

      Amazing!! We are doing ours tomorrow but get lots of squirrels that visit so we also have to cover everything with mesh. Post some pics in the spring please.

      I would have been too tempted to plant in colour blocks
