Dies ist ein 4 Jahre alter Pieris mit einem gewissen sentimentalen Wert. Der Hund eines Freundes kam vorbei und hat das ganze Gebiet aufgerissen und komplett zerstört!!!
Der Freund meinte, er würde eine neue Pflanze als Ersatz kaufen, aber ich würde lieber versuchen, diese Pflanze wieder zum Leben zu erwecken! Sie hat ein tolles Wurzelwerk und war super gesund. Ich denke also, wenn ich sie einfach stehen lasse, wird sie wahrscheinlich nachwachsen?
Hab ich recht oder nicht?
Kann ich irgendetwas tun, um wirklich zu helfen?

It’s dead. Go the garden centre and get another.
Its dead. Big time.
Give it a year, it might put out fresh shoots from rhizomes/stolons. This happened to a Bonsai Acer of mine after a storm in February.
Scratch test. Scratch a tiny bit of bark away near the base, if there’s still green “flesh” it could come back. Otherwise…it’s dead.

It’s not a plant I’m familiar with, but FFS give it a chance.

If you still have the rest of it try planting them as if deliberate cuttings, they are the same plant.
When you say it ripped it up do you mean just the branches and soil?
That looks quite well established so deep rooted as does the rose in the background. I would leave it and see if it grows back.
I’d of gone batshit mental at our own dog if it had done that.
