You could remove the bottom two to be safe but I would just stick and water and use that as a last resort
Yeah. About 1 month. But if I were you, I would stick them in sand instead.

Put it in water with a pothos cutting for faster root growth. I did my own experiment and the one in the water with pothos had roots sprouting after only two weeks while the other took a month.
