Not sure what it is? Doesn’t look too sick, more constrained and uncomfortable. Might have some spider mite or similar going on, if there are any signs, I’d treat it and then find it a home in the soil and get a more suitable plant for your container.
It looks like it might need a repot and some water. Make sure to pot it up into a pot 1-2 inches wider in diameter 🙂
It does look to possibly have some kind of mildew, as it’s a small tree you can probably get away with treating by spraying with actual milk (I wouldn’t recommend this above a certain size as the amount of milk involved is likely to end up smelly 🤣 but yours is really wee and the rain will wash it away soon enough). Don’t spray it when raining though you have to do it on a dry day, ideally when it will be dry a couple of days for full effect.
It does look like some kind of fruit tree but in its current state it is hard to tell.
The soil may be compacted, it’s good to unpot or partially unpot patio pot trees to loosen up the soil/add fresh stuff.
You also need to water them fairly often, and fertilise.
it does look like a sickly apple. but they usually still grow and produce when like this. i would try a fungicide but i have no experience in using them
That’s powdery mildew, look on RHS website for better advice. At my work we have Portuguese laurels and they were covered in this, but slowly have slowed it down. At this point, get rid of bark and dispose of any fallen leaves for hygiene, alternatively get rid. It’s slowly dying
