    1. She chose this for mum , daughter is 19 with severe autism and despite loving to scrump tomatoes, peas , berries from garden showed zero interest untill she was flitting about whilst I was pruning the climbing rose down the allotment. She loved the shapes and colours so we got one and it’s been her job to feed , water and train it plus she helped build the planter and trellis.
Proud of and for her 😉

Edit we have together also taken cuttings from the other rose from the allotment and she’s incharge of them, they are alive so far !

She’s done a super job, it’s a very beautiful rose. Does it smell?
I have a rose bush by my front door and the flowers smell lovely.

It’s so healthy, not a black spot or missing leaf anywhere. She’s obviously looked after this very well. You will need to let me know her secret. My roses are not happy, between aphids and the black crispy leaves on them.

That’s the sweetest post I have ever read on Reddit ❤️ My daughter is Autistic, and I wish someday to see her blossom. Thank you for sharing 🌹

They look absolutely gorgeous, she’s done a.fantastic job!

I’ve just been out pruning in my dad’s garden and the state of the the roses always makes me sad, as they always get diseased. Seeing this has inspired me to have a proper go of nursing them back to health and get some of those bordering plants to surround it. It would be such a lovely thing to walk past every day if they looked as healthy as this!
