In this case dark means rot. The soil looks too wet probably the cause.
Looks like a combination of rot and sunburn. Take out any that look black/brown and are either dry and crispy or mushy. I had to toss a few of my own today. If you want to water, wait until roots have formed, otherwise they can’t use it yet. Looks like you still have quite a few that are still good.
We have been getting a lot of rain with back to back storms 😒
They have drowned. Especially the ones that are just leaf props don’t need water at all.
they’re so far down in the pot. soil will take much longer to dry like that – lack of air and light.
