So this is an ornamental varietal?
It’s so cute!!! I love pineapple but am allergic to it
It’s a nice one.
I work at a garden center who sells these, from what I heard, I’m pretty sure that you pick it when it’s at least 1/3 yellow. It will also have a sweet smell at the base when it’s ready.
Wow! That looks glorious.
how old is the plant?
Congrats!
Congratulations!!!
Wow!
I would love it so much that it will start to get overripe before I pick it. Once picked, it would either good pineapple, or not so good pineapple. It will never again be that exquisite piece of fruit I planted, nurtured, gazed at for long periods, crouched to smell and invited all I know to come admire with me. Enjoy your pineapple for as long as you can!
Outstanding work. Just remember to save the kids for the next round.
The pineapple plant usually produces one fruit and then has kiliki, kids, the main plant then dies. It’s part of the bromeliad family. One fruit and it’s done for most
