Ich bin vor ein paar Jahren zu mir nach Hause gezogen und habe diesen Baum geerbt. Ich weiß, dass er wahrscheinlich schon lange hier steht, aber ich frage mich, ob ich ihn wegen seiner Nähe zum Haus entfernen sollte
Oder sollte ich mir darüber keine Sorgen machen und es einfach zurückschneiden?

I would.
Cut it down and get as much of the roots out as possible. I’m a big supporter of leaving trees alone, but this will damage your house and utilities

It’s too close to your house. Get it gone before it gets any bigger.
I’m an absolute tree-hugging simp, and even I’d get rid. Get a professional in though. It will need a stump grinder, chipper and the roots poisoning so it doesn’t grow back. Not a DIY job.
I think it looks cool tbh, could shape it nicely and give it some character

You don’t need to grind the stump. That thing will never regrow. Just cut the stump down to ground level and the bit left beneath the soil and the roots will decompose on their own

I’d remove it because it’s not really very attractive now. It was planted in the wrong place and has been butchered.
Yes its way to close to ya house, if you can get roots out as well before you get uprooting problems, because this will happen eventually
