Mein Freund hat kürzlich einen wasservermehrten Weidensteckling eingetopft. Gut durchlässiger Lehmboden. Viel Sonne. (Fenster- und Wachstumslicht) und fördert gesundes Wachstum. Da wir weit weg sind, habe ich es noch nicht persönlich gesehen, aber es scheint wirklich gesund zu sein. Ich habe online gesucht und nichts dergleichen gefunden.

Ok so I did a little research all brand new to me . This are my findings
“Willows are weirdly fuzzy sometimes — especially young shoots and unfolding leaves. Some species get silky trichomes (tiny plant hairs) around buds and nodes. The way it’s curling and attached directly to growth points instead of stretched between leaves makes me think it’s probably plant tissue, not pests.”

As to why …. It sounds like it can be a youth thing(just a guess)
For contrast my grapefruit trees grow thorns year one or two and they ether fade or grow into new branches. ‘‘Twas a youth thing🤷
