Es gab HUNDERTE von Pflanzen, die gerade verwelkt und weggeworfen wurden. Ich war so erschüttert. Ich sprang aus meinem Auto und schnappte mir ein paar zufällig ausgewählte Exemplare. Ich habe diese + einen riesigen hängenden Farn bekommen 😂 Ich dachte, es würde euch allen gefallen.
Ich werde sie einer gründlichen Reinigung und Insektenbehandlung unterziehen und sie aus Sicherheitsgründen eine Weile von meinen anderen Pflanzen fernhalten 🙂 Ich bin mir nicht einmal sicher, was das alles ist! Der Lavendel riecht allerdings herrlich

I work in the industry and do my best to not waste because I don’t work at one of the big boxes and are forced to. lmk if you get that vinca up and rolling again and if you put it in ground VS a pot. Aerial phytophthora gets me a lot and I do unfortunately have to remove dozens quite often.
Score! I think it stinks that they do this. I know it’s up to the vendors, but it’s such waste. They won’t give up even a broken piece that could be propped. I always go straight to the markdowns. 95% is salvageable. But FREE is best!!!
Do they have bugs on them?? Usually big box plants are cleaner than those at most gardeners homes
Got a truck full from our local farm store July. Many didn’t revive but several did plus free plastic pots and trays for seed starting.
This is great! Makes me want to scour my local home depot dumpster area.
Thank god there is a plant shop nearby that takes in plants and nurses them over a few days in their larger building, if I saw this many plants tossed I’d be getting a large trolley and wheeling them over for adoption
Mine has there vendors take the trash 0lants with them. I’m sad I can’t dumpster dive plants.

The world is SO wasteful and it’s so depressing. They could at least put this in compost/yard waste to be mulched. But then again, these stores use shitty soil with plastic fertilizer prills
