thai monsteras are pretty forgiving so you picked good plant for first time. that pot looks okay for now but you’ll probably need bigger one in few months when it grows more. water when top inch of soil feels dry – stick your finger right into dirt to check. i learned this hard way after killing my first monstera with overwatering lol. also they love bright indirect light, so maybe move it little further from that window if it gets direct sun. the variegation on yours looks really nice btw, those white patches make it way more expensive than regular monstera
