Those are fine. You definitely won’t need the extension if you are using those inserts. The extension is more for solo cups and bigger inserts. You can grow anything in there. I’d get rid of that extension.

Close the vents untill something sprouts than open the vents. After a day or 2 with the vents open I’d start planning on moving the seedlings out of the dome to toughen up.

Not a huge fan of these kits those as you can’t really use the lights with the dome off. And when the seedlings start sprouting you want to take them out the dome.

I use my dome on a heat mat with an inch of water in the bottom.
