Nice Redneck engineering there (and I mean that in the sincerest way possible)!

If you’re just starting out, it’s likely you’re going to be screwing up your first few tries in some way, and I think this homemade setup will be a great way to learn the basics while going through those first few runs without having to drop a few hundred bucks on a full kit.

And tbh you can probably get some serious weight on a plant in there if you get good at bonsai-ing your baby (and probably replace that light at some point).

I love the reference :’) I can picture the aluminum covered trailer now..

I would put aluminum foil or mylar (even cheaper and better reflective properties) on all sides including the bottom. You can download a lux meter on your phone e to estimate how much light the plants are getting. The bottom lining will also help prevent mildew from the humidity and potential wet cardboard. The fan is a great/necessary touch that can easily be forgotten

Do you have a more powerful light? Sadly that 6w LED won’t do shit for a plant.

We all start with a cardboard box and some foil. The computer fan is a nice touch 👌🏼

Make a drip pan or secondary containment in there, so one spill content make a soggy box

This is so cool. I’m gonna google how this works and make myself one!

  9. This is a fire hazard 😬 and no not because Ricky is in charge of it haha

  10. I skipped the DIY grow tent when I started and got a “cheap” grow tent bundle and just upgraded the stuff that either broke or sucked

Did you know brothers Grimm has trailer park boy seeds
