Would love to know when these shipments come in each week so I can drive by the dumpsters and see what I can rescue!

To be fair, I’m more likely to go to Lowe’s to buy zip ties and browse the plants while I’m there. If I’m going somewhere to specifically buy a plant it’s gonna be a local greenhouse

I was just reading an article about how Costa treats their workers inhumanely.

  4. On the topics of working conditions I donate to WeCount!’s Planting Justice Program that is bringing worker-driven social responsibility programs to the industry. It’s a worker-led approach that is also happening on tomato farms in Florida and dairy farms in Vermont. I’m not affiliated, just a big fan of the approach.

Has anyone else had issues with their plants? I bought a couple pothos from them recently, and they did not thrive. I have many other healthy pothos plants, so I’m not sure what the deal was.

As an employee worker in Ourdoor Lawn and Garden…thank you for shopping at Lowes lol

I say just start setting up your area. If someone asks say of course this inventory needs to be maintained properly and you are just doing your job in taking care of it.

Well, great…you just reminded me of the other store at which I have an errand tomorrow…😫🤪

Every Lowe’s I go to the plants are struggling. I’ve worked with plants for the last 10 years. And I feel like I could do a way better job. But they wouldn’t pay me what I’m worth.

As a former MSM who had to fight my store manager on behalf of my plant lead, God speed soldier. Get those tables 🫡

Really unfortunate. Your store should have a basic POG in your playbook, maybe your regional MSM could provide more help? I’m not sure how it is in other states but the stores I service all have a set space for plants on their store map rather than just being in the drive aisle.

Stop giving them your money. They give money to harmful politicians
