Dieses Jahr möchte ich viele Sonnenblumen anbauen. Vielleicht Hunderte, im Nordwesten.
Wie und wann würden Sie damit beginnen? Ich habe mit einer kleinen Charge verschiedene Methoden gestartet. Hauptsächlich um zu sehen, was am einfachsten ist. Aber ich bin etwas ratlos, was Timing und Temperaturen angeht.
Sie werden in Rabatten und Töpfen draußen sein. Irgendwelche Ratschläge für diese wunderbaren Blumen?

Start them around april/may, if in the ground late april/may as the soil takes a little while to warm up. No need to worry about methods, sow about a cm deep and give a good water; look out for pests like slugs as the seedlings will be susceptible. Weed the borders first to remove competition and then if you can once the seedlings have grown a bit give the border a bit of a mulch to lock in the warmth and moisture.
well dont start them yet is my biggest advice. Late april or may and if your doing lots directly in the ground.
