Ich habe diese Hortensie über den Winter so gelassen, wie sie ist, damit sich Insekten usw. darin nisten können. Jetzt beginnt sie zu blühen. Hat es einen Sinn, es jetzt zu kürzen, abgesehen von den toten Köpfen? Wenn ja, welchen Ansatz würden Sie wählen? Danke

I’d Just cut the dead heads off

The only reasons to cut back would be to reshape it or if you didn’t want it getting to big or overcrowding it’s neighbour plants, it looks fine as it is and I’d just cut the heads off.
My neighbour suggested when I do it, that I lower about a third of branches to build some variety, which I’m trying this year
Just cut the dead heads off now. Leaving them over winter is a good idea, but they should be cut off early spring.
The rest of the plant looks healthy, I wouldn’t cut more

I’d definitely cut some of the other branches back to a lower bud to round the shape or thin it out
