There are tons of varieties of squash! Difficult to say for sure what it is until it is ripe. I would be willing to bet that they aren’t zucchini since every zucchini I’ve ever seen is long and slender. They could be some sort of pumpkin.
Whatever they are, I’d keep them and find out. It’s fun to watch volunteer plants grow and learn about them.
They may be from curcubit seeds that have cross bred. Unless you can absolutely identify them, they can be dangerous to eat.
Could this be a young winter squash, like a spaghetti squash?
As others said, there’s so much hybridization amongst squashes. It’s near impossible to tell until maturity, and even then it could be a brand new hybrid with no real name.
That being said, at first glance those reminded me of Desi Squash, although the shape is a little more elongated than I usually see from Desi.
I’d cut off one while it’s young (between baseball and softball sized) to slice and pan fry. The only way to know if it’s good is to try it.
If it’s tender and sweet it’s a type of summer squash, if it’s really hard and/or bitter then it could be a winter squash or some type of inedible hybrid.
Looks like a honeydew melon
