I don’t have any advice but wanted to say that I have two Clivia that I grew from seed two years ago that are smaller than your props.

I’ve never propped it in water but if you are patient, the clivias in dirt just will not stop putting out new baby plants. I have to divide mine almost every year 😅

Too much water, leave like 1/4 of that

this is not the way for clivia, they will rot. put them in a 50%potting mix 50%perlite mix with bright indirect sunlight. keep the mix moist but never wet, you can use rooting powder if you wish. water is not the clivias friend, they like a sandy, sharp drainage situation to thrive and water like this is their nemesis
