Its looking for more light, monstera need lots of light
Maybe consider lowering it so it can get more sunlight from the window
My Pothos and monstera cobra both did this when they were root bound. Going up two sizes and chopping the leggy parts off completely fixed mine. And then I was able to prop all the nodes I had chopped. Lol.
it needs light to the crown, that’s the most important thing plants we set up to be trailing plants. way more light in general but esp to the crown.
Not so sure about monstera, but my scindapsus shot out a leafless vine exactly like this when humidity wasn’t enough. I read somewhere online that it’s kind of a probe seeking for more water or something along the lines
