Ich züchte seit etwa 2010 drinnen und draußen alle Arten von Bananen und dies ist das zweite Mal, dass ich eine Blüte sehe und zum ersten Mal überhaupt Früchte bekomme! Mit der Aussaat von Musa velutina wurde im Frühjahr 2024 begonnen, im Winter desselben Jahres begann sie zu blühen, aber ohne genügend Wärme und Licht schrumpfte der blühende Stängel und starb. Ich ließ den nächsten Welpen groß werden und er begann diesen Winter wieder zu blühen. Dieses Mal wollte ich unbedingt Früchte ernten, also habe ich 250-Watt-Wachstumslampen darüber und eine Heizmatte unter den Topf gestellt, weil meine Böden im Winter ziemlich kalt werden.
Es wächst in einem 10-Gallonen-Topf und ist etwa 5 Fuß hoch. Die Frucht schmeckt ziemlich gut, obwohl sie größtenteils aus großen, harten Samen besteht. Immer noch süß und bananenartig, aber etwas saftiger als die meisten Bananen.

Could you share the specific grow light you used? Thanks!!! And how warm is the ambient in your house in winter? And do you know if the humidity matters or just focusing on the heat and light would be enough?
