What kind of soil is it? Any chance it’s really compacted? I have this kind of calathea and I have it in a chunky soil with coco coir, perlite, and bark.

The soil looks compact to me in the pic, but maybe it’s just appearing odd in the photo.
If you’re still having trouble, you can always use filtered or rainwater. Or increase the humidity. But honestly, it generally looks fine. It may be hard to tell though, because I imagine you got rid of the dying leaves before taking the picture.
