I’m sure it’s a coincidence but the last 10 warmest years globally on record have been the last ten years. 😉

Now That is a surprise. I live in Swansea so used to seeing some random flowering. At least your daffodil had the decency to wait till after the equinox.

We drove through Wiltshire last Saturday and mile upon mile of white tree blossom. It looked amazing. We’re in the Swansea Valley and the same trees are blossoming here as well. There’s just not as many of them in the first place.

Where I live in Somerset, a certain portion of the council-planted daffodils usually start blooming in December.
Obviously the weather plays a role, but it’s also heavily variety dependant. Early and late varieties can have a separation of as much as 3 months.
In East Sussex and there are some narcissus in my garden that have been bloomed for a bit now! Was just chatting to my mother about how strange it is this morning.

It’s just a matter of breeding. Where I live in SW Devon, I see them before Christmas, while others are bred to open in May, and every thing in between.

I don’t see an option to upload photos but I saw blossom yesterday and some of my daffodils are trying to come up and I’m in Glasgow
