Divide it, repot it, and give half of it to someone for Christmas is how I solved that same issue a few years ago. Now my FIL has a rabbit foot fern, which he adores.
Also thank you for reminding me that its time to divide it again. I wonder if I could sneak *just one* more plant into my office without anyone noticing….
