Personally I would take some cuttings with nodes on them and propagate them to where they get a bunch of roots and then add them back into to the top!

Propagate some cuttings and place them into the empty spots, or take one of the long vines and pin down the nodes to the soil which can cause roots to grow downwards from the vine and eventually make your plant look fuller

You can put rooted cuttings ino the pot to get more plants in there and get it bushier that way. Apart from that, just prune it. Mostly two shoots will come out from one if you do.
Also, it could use more light to be less leggy and patchy.

Here to echo making cuttings, but I also recommend taking one or two of the strands and pinning them to the dirt
I got the pins on Etsy. Made my leggy pothos look nice and full and hopefully the nodes will grow into the soil

Like other people are saying, take some cutting and root them and then transplant them back into the pot. You can also coil the bald strands into the pot, it will root from the bald nodes and possibly grow new leaves from those points
