Wir haben heute einen soliden Wechsel in der Kleingartenanlage hingelegt. Unsere Kompostbuchten befanden sich in einem erstklassigen, sonnigen Anbaugebiet, also beschlossen wir, sie zu verlegen. Theoretisch ganz einfach … aber es hat etwa vier Stunden gedauert, den gesamten Inhalt zu verschieben 😅

I move them annually, so much good nutrition soaks into the ground, what’s left is a mulch on the surface while it breaks down. Upside of the sunny spot, the compost breaks down a bit quicker and the plants in the shade need a little less water and can have crops staggered, even if sown at the same time, just by the degree day difference
