      Yeah looks great so far.
*I hope someday the fruit is edible for you! When you start one from a store bought avocado, there is no guarantee the fruit will be true to parent plant so you could wind up with yummy avocados or something inedible. Fingers crossed for you!

It looks great. I had mine for a few years. I kept putting it outside all summer till I got 12 feet tall in a pot and I couldn’t bring it in anymore so I gave it away.

YOU SURE DO!! It’s beautiful. I can’t get mine to sprout 🙁 waiting for the avocado fairy to come along and do some magic. thanks for the post

You need to cut it about 2/3 the way up right above a node in early spring. It will prevent it from getting too tall and thin.

    5. You’re aware most/all avocado trees grow into HUGE trees? Do you have someplace outside to transplant it? It’s healthy and it’s going to outgrow your space.
