That would be my pride and joy too, I’m in awe! How long between the two pictures?

Beautiful. Never heard about this before. A quick Google search reveals that you have to bleed like 25 dollars for a mini plant (6 cm) in my country. Yikes. Love the plant though.

I have many questions 🤣 did you propogate or did it just do this? Are you growing it vertically now? What’s the medium? How much time between the first and second picture? I’ve got a baby one right now and it’d be rad to have one like yours sometime in the future.

Awww I just got one of these yesterday!!! I hope mine grows like yours, tell me your secrets 🥰

    5. What planting medium are you using? I have two I need to translate and want to experiment…these look very healthy.

It’s so perfect that I had to make sure it wasn’t fake.

    7. I thought they needed constant moisture in like a terrarium or so. Is that not necessary?

I love jewel orchids but don’t have one yet

I see them while going on hikes and it’s really cool! They look beautiful in the forest

These are one of my favorite plants and I have such a hard time finding them. This is amazing!

I don’t really have one that I’m proud of, but I have about 10 that I admire on a daily basis, waiting for something to go wrong. 😬😆😵‍💫

That’s a fantastic expertly grown example of the species, great job

    13. No way! I’ve wanted a jewel orchid for awhile now. Yours are thriving!

Mine is the string of hearts I grew from seed. The original plant was just a bulb and some dead strings that i rescued from someone’s kerbside rubbish. That one plumped out nicely and flowered and i got 2 seed pods from it. Sowed the seeds and forgot about them in their little container. Meanwhile, I had to move house and the original plant went to a friend who managed to kill it, but the seedling container came with me. Eventually I potted up the seedlings and now they’re recovering from their neglect, creeping over the sides of their pot and even flowering.

    15. Ugh. I HAVE to get off this sub. I have enough plants already, and I don’t need more ideas!! 😆

Gorgeous plant though 😁. It looks so happy!! And your nail polish matches it 😉
