    Lovely coloured berries and branches!

That sky looks amazing as well!

  2. Interesting fact alert! Most UK birds aren’t used to eating white berries, as few native species have them (Mistletoe an honourable exception), so these berries often last a long way through the winter.
In winter the UK is sometimes lucky enough to be visited by Waxwings, one of our most beautiful birds. This species breeds in Arctic Scandinavia and to the east and they sometimes erupt far from their breeding grounds in winter if there is not enough food around. As they are semi-nomadic in winter they have evolved to eat whatever berries they find, and due to a lack of fear of people they can often be found feeding on white-berried rowans in supermarket car parks, as most other tree’s berries have already been eaten by other birds.

It looks beautiful, even in a parking lot! Nature always find a way.

They’re honestly underrated trees, I have one in my previous back garden and the berries always attract loads of birds around this time of year.
