Wir haben diese Pflanze im Rahmen einer Räumung von Home Depot erhalten. Es sah nicht besonders gesund aus, als wir es bekamen, aber seitdem wir es nach Hause gebracht haben, ging es bergab. Wir haben versucht, etwas Wasser zu trinken und es an verschiedene Stellen im Haus zu verteilen. Ist es zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch speicherbar? Ich glaube, es ist eine Deiffenbachie.

Oh no 🙁 . It’s not looking great – it’s hard to tell from the photo whether it’s fully dead or not. Diffenbachia are pretty hardy. If you wanted to give it a last chance I’d make sure to water once fully dried out and put it close to a window with bright but not direct light. My diffenbachia has done really well in bright rooms a few metres from the window. I’d probably trim off the dead leaves + you’ll then be able to see if it pushes out any new growth.
*Dieffenbachia* like soil that drains really well, bright filtered light, and thorough waterings once the soil is fairly dry.
If the pot doesn’t have a hole for drainage, switch to one that does. Mix coco chips and pumice into the soil.
When you water, don’t get the leaves wet. Completely drench the soil and let the excess drain out. Use a chopstick to check down into the soil and the weight of the pot. Check on it every seven to ten days but don’t water unless the pot feels pretty light.
Don’t mist the leaves since that doesn’t help raise humidity and can lead to fungal issues, pests, and rot.
Look at the roots to see if they are healthy, then if they look good I would chop off all the dead leaves and stems and plant it into a pot with good drainage and good soil. Water and put it in indirect sunlight. Idk if this helps but that’s what I’ve been doing with my plants and they have been thriving
