Probably a sign of bacterial leaf spot. Just be sure to rake up the leaves after they drop and put them in the trash. Diseased foliage can spread into new growth next year if left on the ground.
Let it go. In autumn, leaves are sending their energy and chlorophyll to the roots. This leaves them unable to fight off diseases. Most plants have some sort of spotting this time of year. We get a ton of posts about hydrangea spots. These leaf spots in autumn are a cosmetic issue, not a disease that affects the plant’s health.
