Ich baue in meiner Freizeit eine Süßkartoffel in meinem Wohnheimzimmer an, nur um zu sehen, ob ich das kann. Es ist jetzt fast 2 Monate alt. Aber ich bemerke immer wieder, dass während der Trieb wächst, die untersten Blätter immer weiter welken. Sie entwickeln diese kleinen weißen Flocken und kräuseln sich vorher nach unten.
Ich habe eine Pflanzenlampe in meinem Schrank, nur weil es kälter wird und ich nicht möchte, dass die Kälte des Glases sie tötet. Ich habe in diesem Raum eine Heizung, um sie warm zu halten. Sie läuft ungefähr 12 Stunden am Tag neben einem Glas Wasser für die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Diese Kartoffel (abzüglich des Schlickers) wird hydroponisch angebaut, aber ich habe dem Wasser nichts hinzugefügt. Ich koche es einfach erst aus, bevor ich es wieder auffülle.

It looks like it needs more light
Sweet potato leaves commonly produce those white granules in response to stress. What caused that stress could be almost anything: not enough light, too much or not enough water, not enough nutrients.
I will say that sweet potatoes are not meant to grow the way you are growing them. They are not meant to be grown just in water, and the actual shoot itself is meant to be buried to allow it to develop its own roots, rather than relying on the roots of the tuber. So growing it the way you are, it is likely to be stressed no matter what improvements you try to make.
