Lol this is actually a game. It’s called Vintage Story.
The game is a survival game inspired by Minecraft, however there’s a whole farming portion of it where you create this little Hamlet to live your life.
The story is that a guy named Jonas years ago discovered the ability to control time and, with a cadre of friends, mother fucked the entire time line. He did all of this because of hubris and also megalomaniacal greed. When it was finally at the end and he was out of people to blame, because they all died, he realized what he did wrong and used the last of his life to create these beings called Seraphs that are people made of stone (because it’s the most time resistant “living” thing) to combat the hordes of time lost Drifters that are the planar lost souls of the people he literally genocided. He throws the switch, rewinds time, then nothing happens for centuries. Until you awake.
There’s also cooking in the game! You can make pies.

You could cross post this to Skyrim and it wouldn’t be out of place.

me in baldur’s gate 3 (i love foraging potion ingredients even if the potion crafting system can be easily abused in other ways in the game).
