I think it’s Turkey tail. Medicinal properties if prepped right, but not a tasty one I believe.

That’s epic. They look like jelly ear mushrooms (that may only be a UK term, I’m not sure). I’ve come across chefs who cook with them and one who even turned it into a Jaffa Cake by soaking it in orange juice, then coating in tempered dark chocolate. They have a spongy texture.
I could, of course, be completely wrong, so no snacking until the person who posted to a mushies sub comes back!
