White Bird of paradise and a Monstera!
Plant a dracaena or maybe a fig tree there. Could be fun to see if you could get an eating fig to take there & have an indoor fig tree that bears fruit tbh.
A lemon tree. I dated a guy in Mallorca with the exact feature, and he always had fresh lemons.
Ferns, anthurium, Hoya, calathea, … tree ferns too…

I would personally start by framing the wallpaper. It’s definitely a piece of art. Please share where you got that wallpaper ❣️ I’d do a thin white arched frame like the entrance on both walls. Huummm for plants…I’d keep it simple so not to distract but enhance the wall paper. I’d do some ferns and maybe ivy or philodendrons or pathos. There are some that have variegations of green white and yellow. Some yellow would make the small amounts of yellow in the wallpaper pop. How cool would it be if you could fit a reading nook a cozy enchanting retreat! Did I say how much I love that wallpaper.
rotational garden. Corn one year (wind or shake to polinate), tomatoes, peppers, etc. might require some hand polination. Or some of those high-oxygen producing plants? Like Areca Palms.
Edit: This would also be a great place for a pet turtle.

how long does the peak light coming through that window actually last? You’re gonna wanna find something not only shade tolerant but also from a zone that does not get high UV.

Oh wow. You’d have to make sure there was enough light for it, but I’d put in a miniature bird of paradise (S. reginae, they actually flower indoors) in a buried pot, possibly with some oxalis triangularis. I saw some suggestions for a giant bird of paradise, which doesn’t need as much light but I don’t think it would ever flower for you, and that one would absolutely have to be contained in a pot. Their roots are known for cracking concrete and growing through asphalt. They’re not quite as vigorous indoors, but I expect it’d still be able to make a good go of destroying your house.
Or a lemon tree. Lemon trees are great.

I think I like the idea of a nice specimen tree. A lemon or whatever. Maybe something low growing surrounding it. Idk how much light that actually gets but you may need grow lights if you pick a high light tree.
An unusual citrus like kumquat or caviar lime. Put it in a really big pot buried in the soil incase you need to pull it out.
Remember that insects like aphids or spider mites can eventually make their way in so youd want to try and prevent it in the first place.
Have you removed all the dirt to see how it was constructed and what is under it?
I think you need a nice lil fruit tree and some succulents, like an Ice Plant (super easy, flowering succulents)

Cactus, saw one with three awesome jade plants, z plant,fiddle leaf fig,succulents any indoor plant that doesn’t require a lot of water!! Or you could go opposite and make it a hot tub!!

I agree with other comments saying lemon plant. Or any citrus that you want. I would consider putting some air plants on it though to make this little corner look super tropical. Add some screens and doors and you can make it an enclosure for a reptile or bird too
