Zum ersten Mal Blumenzüchter. Houston, 9b. Ich habe meine Gladiolen ausgegraben und festgestellt, dass viele der neuen Zwiebeln etwa erbsengroß waren. Lohnt es sich, diese aufzubewahren? Die Pflanzen wurden diesen Sommer ziemlich heiß und haben einiges abbekommen, daher weiß ich nicht, ob das gültig ist oder nicht. Jede Eingabe ist willkommen.

glads have corms, not bulbs. These corms produce cormlets. They can be potted up next year and in 2 to 3 years they will flower.
next year you’ll wanna pot them 2 inches deep, 3 to 6 inches apart, give them full sun, give them the same substrate as corms, and in a pot that’s at least 8 inches deep if using a pot
